Seasonal availability

18 March to 9 May 2027

This is a seasonal tour. It runs during the Keukenhof season, which Keukenhof has announced as 18 March to 9 May 2027 (open daily from 08:00 to 19:00, with last entry at 18:15). These are the official dates published by Keukenhof; the booking calendar only offers dates inside this season.

Tulips follow the weather. When the fields and gardens are at their best depends on nature, so the exact condition of the blooms, and which fields are in flower on your day, cannot be guaranteed. Keukenhof publishes a flower report during the season, and Mike will take the current conditions into account when planning your day.

Because of the availability of Keukenhof tickets, this tour must be booked at least 14 days (two weeks) before the tour date.

About the tulip fields

The area around Keukenhof is the heart of the Dutch bulb-growing region. Mike drives you through it and stops where the view is good and photography is legal and safe. The fields are working farmland, so for the growers' sake and your own safety we never walk into them and do not promise access to private fields.

Tulips follow the weather, so the exact condition of the blooms on your day cannot be guaranteed. Read about private tulip field tours in the Netherlands.

Ron, United States · September 29, 2026 · GetYourGuide review · Private tour: windmills, castle and Volendam
This was one of the best day activities we could have had. With our limited time in Amsterdam, it was such an easy, relaxing way to see parts of Netherlands outside of the city. Mike was super accommodating to our needs, including my elderly mother and my hyper 6 year old. Communication was GREAT, and he kept us informed about where we were going/doing while remaining totally flexible. What a lovely memory! Thank you Mike!
Aisha, United States · August 13, 2026 · GetYourGuide review · Private tour: windmills, castle and Volendam
Mike was an amazing guide. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating. We could never have visited all the places that he took us to on our own. I would highly recommend him to anyone wanting a private, authentic experience in the Netherlands.
Yaroslav, United States · July 11, 2026 · GetYourGuide review · Private tour: windmills, castle and Volendam
One of the best day trips we did in Europe, Mike was both professional and friendly. We felt like in a tour with a friend taking care of us. The tour was timely and spot on the most important things to see and enjoy. We tasted nice food and enjoyed the walk around while in a very nice weather. At the end Mike did a nice video for the memory with the photos he took for us during the trip. Highly recommend it while planning a visit to Amsterdam
